The Tulsa rally in June, as well as large anti-Trump protests that weekend, led to coronavirus infections, Tulsa officials admitted. Before the rally, local health officials were berated and threatened by Trump team front people for trying to force the rally outside or be canceled. Tulsa health officials have declined to provide numbers or specifics about what happened next. Some attendees have tested positive for covidvirus, including several campaign staff members and Secret Service agents, as well as Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) and former presidential candidate and pizza executive Herman Cain, who died, although it is not known where they contracted the virus.
